You are reading this correctly friends. Jesus Christ and myself are now friends on facebook.  This fact really proves that politics does indeed make strange bedfellows. I certainly don't profess to be any kind of a religious ideologue as all of my friends know already. But, once you start digging into Jesus' life and his politics, well it doesn't take long to realize that Jesus was on the right side of things as concerns morality, common decency and the like. What it ultimately means of course is that you don't have to be a Christian, or anything religious for that matter, to appreciate where Jesus was coming from and what his values were. Jesus and myself could easily see eye to eye on things I am convinced of that now.  As for crucifixion, well,  that is a different ballgame altogether as you can imagine.  I am not big on nails and hanging out to dry so to speak, so I have to give Jesus kudos for the Big Fall that He did for all of us. He truly is the martyr of history if you want my opinion on the matter.
